DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will engage in public safety responsibilities by patrolling, observing, directing, and monitoring the swimming areas within the Reeds Gap State Park Complex to uphold order and ensure the safety of all visitors. The individual in this position will undertake a range of public safety tasks aimed at fostering the secure use of recreational amenities throughout the Reeds Gap State Park Complex, which encompasses Reeds Gap, Poe Valley, and Poe Paddy State Parks. These responsibilities are essential for safeguarding park visitors and facilities while facilitating positive public interactions within the Reeds Gap State Park Complex.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. Shift hours and days may vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch. Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
All positions require possession of an active motor vehicle license. All employees must obtain valid certification in standard first aid and adult, child, and infant CPR approved by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent within 60 days of employment. Other Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
