Job Description

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test individual sub-assemblies

  • Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation

  • Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct

  • Provide feedback to engineering and operations groups regarding first time assemblies

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to understand assembly instructions and technical documentation

  • Basic assembly troubleshooting skills are an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PCB Assembly experience preferred.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English

  • Knowledge and experience with all common mechanical hand tools

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds
