Job Title: Production Planner
Location : Casper, WY
Salary : $60,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
Job Overview:
Adecco is currently helping a local client in Casper, WY seeking a Production Planner. Responsible for managing and optimizing the production schedules across multiple North American manufacturing sites. This key role ensures that production goals and deadlines are met through effective planning of materials, equipment, and staffing needs. The Planner will oversee the entire process from initial prep through to final shipping and delivery. The position requires close coordination with cross-functional teams, including procurement, shipping, and operations, to streamline production processes, ensure on-time delivery, and support continuous improvement through the implementation of lean production models.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and Update Production Schedules : Manage the production schedule from preparation through final shipment, ensuring resources are available, timelines are met, and any potential disruptions are minimized.
Manage Monthly and Quarterly Schedules : Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly production plans, including a 6/12 rolling forecast to predict material, labor, and equipment requirements.
Track Production Efficiency : Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency, working closely with teams to identify areas for improvement.
Implement Lean Processes : Promote lean manufacturing principles across the sites, working to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall production efficiency.
Cross-Department Collaboration : Partner with procurement, shipping, and other internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and the smooth flow of goods through the production pipeline.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement : Identify potential production issues or bottlenecks early and develop solutions to keep projects on track and improve processes across all sites.
Qualifications:
Experience : At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production planning or related roles. Previous experience in a multi-site planning role is a plus.
Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level), including the ability to build and analyze complex spreadsheets, track KPIs, and manage large data sets.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in procurement, operations, and shipping.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and best practices.
Benefits:
- Salary : Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
