Job Title: Crane Technician

Job Description

As a Crane Technician, your primary role will be to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations. You will be responsible for on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to ascertain the cause of equipment malfunction and establish necessary repairs. This role requires you to be on call as part of service office rotation and provide after-hours service as required. You will be expected to conduct a general post-repair audit prior to completion of work, ensuring all required safety features are functional or documenting deficiencies. You will also be responsible for making corrective recommendations to the customer and advising the local service office of actions necessary to sell or complete the repairs.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a service tech role based out of Millington. A service truck and gas card will be provided. Clock in and out on an app when you leave your home and return to your home

Work Environment

This position requires physical strength with frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. It requires frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching, with occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The role is primarily indoors (90%) with some outdoor work (10%) and can expose you to heat, cold, noise, and heights. The maximum workday is 14 hours from key on to key off, typically 10 hours Monday - Friday and Saturdays as needed.
