Description
Georgia Military College is accepting applications for part-time flooring techs. Flooring techs are required t o conduct routine and specialized cleaning of all campus building's floors including vinyl tile, carpet, and other flooring material such as rubberized athletic flooring.
Primary Responsibilities:
Routine floor buffing, floor scrubbing, and carpet cleaning. Stripping and waxing as required.
Cleaning and maintaining floor and carpet cleaning equipment on a daily basis
General custodial support for special events or other needed areas as required.
Georgia Military College employees are required to enroll in direct deposit as the institution does not issue paychecks. New hires will be required to upload account information for direct deposit within the onboarding process prior to their start date. Employees have the ability to add, remove, and change account information within their Paycom Employee Self-Service portal.
*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Must possess a valid driver's license
Some custodial/janitorial experience to include floor maintenance
Knowledge of stripping and waxing techniques.
Preferred qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED equivalentstrongly preferred
