Calico Creek Feed & Pet Pet Groomer in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania
Seeking a full-time or part-time groomer. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train.
Groomer is expected to:
•Comb, clip, trim, and shape animal's coats, using: Knowledge of animal characteristics and grooming techniques/styles and by instructions the owner may give regarding the desired shape of the animal's coat. •Bathe the animal, using the necessary shampoos/chemical solutions to rid the animal of fleas and other parasites. •Clip animal's nails. •Clean animal's ears and eyes. •Talk to animal or use other techniques to calm animal, because having a good rapport with the animals can make the groomer's job easier and more satisfying. •Groomer is responsible for answering phones and maintaining records of services provided to customers. •Customer information should be kept on file for future visits, and to use as a customer contact database. •Groomer is expected to help with the washing and drying of laundry. •Groomer is expected to assist in keeping the Self-Wash clean and supplied with fresh, clean towels for customer use.
