POSITION: INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN - Full or Part Time

MILFORD REGIONAL PHYSICIAN GROUP , part of the Milford Regional Health Care System, is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join our dedicated community of providers. With over 200 physicians and advanced practitioners, we make up the largest multi-specialty physician group in our region. We have a mix of newer physicians and those who have been with our group for many years, and the collaboration between them results in creative approaches to patient care and practice management. Our physicians are stakeholders in the group who have the opportunity to influence decisions. JOB DESCRIPTION:

MRPG is looking for board certified or board eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join our team, with full or part-time opportunities available. A full-time physician would have 32 patient care hours per week with an additional 8 hours reserved for administrative time to complete indirect work (prorated for part-time candidates). Our physicians see approximately 18-22 patients per day and document their encounters in EPIC (our electronic medical record). Outstanding professional support is provided by experienced internists on our team. We aim for our internal medicine physicians to spend the majority of their workday with their patients. To accomplish this goal, we have resources in place to support them, including scribes for documentation, dedicated office-based support staff, and nurse case managers, social workers and behavioral health support specialists to help manage the highest risk patients. Administratively, physicians are supported by a strong leadership team made up of Physician Leaders, Operations, IT, HR, and more! Additionally, we provide personalized training and coding education.
