Senior Proposal Specialist shall be responsible to prepare and manage most competitive Technical and Commercial Proposals in compliance with the Client’s requirement / technical specifications and ensure bidding process moves forward through initiation to close of business deal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing ecomomic and technical offers for customers requests, contact and negotiate with the suppliers in order to elaborate the commercial offer
Prepare proposal & cost estimation for tender projects.
Estimate project quantities and costs of each project
Review estimate inputs from functional department and supervise the preparation of cost reports and price forms.
Monitors current competitive prices, new techniques and cost trends.
Provides technical inputs, as a team leader at project level to ensure timely completion of estimates.
Assist the CSEs or Sales Manager on technical matters & costing matters during the process of securing the contracts.
To attend the technical meeting with clients during the tendering process.
Able to plan, prepare, coordinate and to consolidate all estimating activities.
Strong analytical capability and attention to detail within calculations, checking and summarizing.
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, scope of works, etc.
- Ability to plan, to set goals and pro-actively follow-up to achieve targets and objectives
Prepare handover report for the award project and follow through Post Order Correspondence
Follows all relevant Tendering / Proposals polices & procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Familiar and maintain awareness of company's current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.
Provide training to new Proposal Specialist.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Energy/Management/Economics) Knowledge of Excel and Office package English Preferable origin from related sector Availability to travel
