What the day will look like
Responsibility for the project management of risk and insurance due diligence process, amongst others client assessment, report writing, data room review, Q&A sessions, and advisory on risk and insurance related issues. Focus on providing insurance-related services to corporates, financial sponsors, and portfolio companies in M&A transactions and during their life cycle.
Reporting to the Head of Risk & Insurance Advisory Italy key focus areas of the role include:
Support in the carrying out of the Insurance Due Diligence process from beginning to end:- Conduct project management work with short deadlines and strictly confidential information- Interact with the broader team in EMEA/UK and internationally (incl. the US), including brokers, coverage/exposure experts, originators and client service teams as well as insurers- Preparation of the Due Diligence report, including i) the review of the information provided by the client (generally in virtual data rooms), ii) the analysis of the insurance programs and iii) the design of the new insurance program when required by the transaction- Interaction with the different advisers of a transaction such as Investment Banks, M&A Boutiques, Law Firms, Financial Advisors, and Lenders
Contributing to the development of commercial relationships with investment funds and corporate, detecting opportunities for cross-selling of other Aon products, services and / or solutions
Assisting in the placement of insurance programs after the closing of the transaction together with broking teams
