Medtronic Associate Technical Consultant – Ear/Nose/Throat – Northern Italy (short term contract) in Milano, Italy

To continue developing our operating unit in Italy, we are looking for a fulltime Technical Consultant for Northern regions.

Our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Operating Unit consists of a comprehensive product portfolio and therapies designed to treat Ear, Nose and Throat disorders. For patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), we offer an innovative, comprehensive treatment continuum with leading Image Guided Navigation systems and powered instruments for Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgeries (FESS), as well as the newly launched bioresorbable steroid-eluting sinus implants. In our portfolio within Otology we offer a high speed drill for ear surgeries and with our H&N Nerve monitoring system we provide a technology to protect the integrity of nerves during a variety of surgeries included thyroidectomies.

A Day in the Life

• Provides clinical support in surgeries, troubleshooting and follow ups in hospitals and clinics.

• Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to our products and therapies.

• Partners with sales representatives to achieve business goals set forth within the territory/district and documents quarterly activities utilizing provided business tool(s).

• Promotes Medtronic's ENT (Ear/Nose/Throat) products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts.

• Plan and support clinical and technical training and education programs with review and input from district manager and staff in the region as well as other functional groups, i.e., marketing, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, education etc., consistent with the District Business Plan.

• Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in bioengineering.

• Communication, collaboration skills.

• Availability to travel within the North Italy regions (Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Valle D'Aosta e Sardegna) and whenever needed in the whole Italian territory.

• Knowledge of written and spoken English (at least level B2).

• Problem Solving: ability to deal with the problem from multiple points of view, helping the doctor to find the best solutions to technical problems.

• Impact on communication with the doctor.

• Team oriented.

• Based within the Lombardia territory (Milan area is preferred).
