Kuehne+Nagel National Contract Logistics Customer Solutions Engineer in Milan, Italy
The National Contract Logistics Customer Solutions Engineer analyzes RFQs, develops client-specific solutions, and presents them for approval to executives and clients within warehouse operations.
Your Role
This role involves building solution models, assisting with proposal documents, and providing conceptual facility layouts using AutoCAD. The engineer interfaces with specialized functional groups for solution design and demonstrates creative problem-solving abilities.
Your Responsibilities
Build Solutions Models
Assist Business Development with the creation of proposal documents and written responses to RFP questions
Read and comprehend customer RFP/Q/I’s to identify solution requirements and additional data and informational requirement for solutions development
Interface with various specialized functional groups for solution design and costing input
Provide conceptual facility layout using AutoCad
Your Skills and Experiences
Degree in Engineering/Economics or related disciplines
Previous experience in the role
Willing to travel in Italy
Analytical skills and problem solving
Excellent knowledge of Excel and AutoCAD
Proactivity and relational skills
Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
Location: Milan Headquarters and other logistics plants in Italy.
The compensation package will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
