Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Professional with over seven years of experience to join our team in Romania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive local HR support, managing recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and facilitating smooth onboarding procedures. This role is critical in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the organization adheres to legal regulations while effectively managing its human capital. The chosen candidate will initially be stationed in Poland for up to three months after starting their employment, before being relocated to Constanta area in Romania.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Align company’s policies, and documentation with Romanian labor laws to ensure compliance. • Act as a central point of contact for all HR-related inquiries from employees, management and Romanian government agencies.• Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. • Build and promote company brand in the Romanian labor market.• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.• Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations in Romania.• Advise management on labor law matters and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks.• Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.• Over 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with local labor laws, occupational safety and health regulations, and HR best practices in Romania.• Fluency in Romanian and very good command of English. This role requires a daily contact with local employees and English-speaking diverse workforce.• Knowledge of Romanian labor laws and ability to provide guidance to US-based management with the local regulations.• Solid experience in full-cycle recruiting. • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques. • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.KBR Benefits
