The Investment business at WTW has over 1000 colleagues worldwide who provide services and advice to a diverse range of institutional investors, including large pension funds, insurance companies, endowments and foundations. As a trusted partner to over 1,200 clients, it advises on over $2 trillion of global assets and has discretion over more than $250 billion of assets. It works closely with teams in the Human Capital and Benefits business, particularly those providing actuarial and other services to many of the world’s top pension funds.

The Role

The individual in this role will be involved in the end-to-end investment operations lifecycle. The focus of the role is on trade management within our operations team.

The position will have oversight for managing and monitoring investments in client portfolios. As a member of the team, you will initiate processes for reviewing and implementing investment instructions and related materials on behalf of our clients. The role requires the candidate to work with multiple internal teams, while effectively communicating opinions and ideas.

The selected candidate will be provided on-the-job training in addition to a mentor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implementing trades for client portfolios

  • Monitor client portfolio positioning and movements

  • Preparation of agreements and investment instructions

  • Keeping internal and external stakeholders appraised of progress

  • Gaining an understanding of the wider investment business

  • Developing relationships with internal and external parties

The Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Project management skills

  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Willingness to learn and ask questions

  • At least two years of experience in an investment operations role is preferred but not required
