Job Summary:

On-site partnership with market executive teams. Directs the strategic capability of the HR organization within the assigned business units on all human capital issues.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partners with business unit leaders to develop and deliver strategic human resource solutions to achieve defined business unit goals.

  • Acts as the lead consultant in providing strategic, financial, and operational direction for assigned HR programs.

  • Diagnoses organization issues and determines root causes to develop evidence-based recommendations, business cases, and action plans.

  • Directs and manages staff. Designs and implements measures to assess and monitor HR's overall effectiveness. Conducts an evaluation of all HR programs to ensure accurate and effective HR policies and procedures.

  • Creates and implements plans to integrate national initiatives with local initiatives to optimize organization capability and effectiveness. Develops appropriate communications, training, and support to engage associates and leaders.

  • Designs approaches to improve organizational, operational, and people strategies. Customizes HR, talent management, and operational solutions to address specific business imperatives to positively impact operational performance.

  • Coaches and develops leaders and managers to deliver people management capabilities.

  • Establishes and maintains collaborative, credible, trusting partnerships with individuals across a broad range of people and groups, both internal and external.

  • Draws upon other HR functions to deliver required expertise, resources, and services to drive customer/organizational imperatives. Understands business objectives and needs and connects teams to the right individuals, business strategies, HR strategies, practices, and solutions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education

Experience

  • Five years' experience, with two years' in leadership

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
