Robert Half Director of Quality Mgmt in Midland, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst in Midland, Texas. The role involves improving the company's business processes and performance through data analytics, in addition to implementing quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will apply their skills in a variety of areas including Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, and Informatica.
Responsibilities:
• Establish governance structures and processes to ensure adherence to workflows and policy
• Engage with leadership to determine relevant performance measures and benchmarks
• Develop quality metrics for ongoing professional practice evaluations
• Design solutions to address opportunities based on benchmarking, data analysis, and corrective actions
• Implement strategies to address barriers across the organization
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s quality improvement initiatives and make adjustments for ongoing success and sustained results
• Develop dashboards and scorecards incorporating metrics tailored to strategic or operational goals
• Evaluate external standards to advise the organization on whether these advance or impede the achievement of strategic goals
• Conduct a culture of patient safety survey and ensure processes are created to address gaps identified in the survey findings
• Apply root cause analysis, surveillance activities, and risk assessments to identify and evaluate patient safety risks
• Provide leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of the Quality Management/Patient Safety System
• Provide analysis and interpretive guidance of federal and state regulations/standards
• Create a culture of passion and commitment for exemplary patient experience, working closely with leaders to ensure patient perception of quality initiatives are aligned Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is essential
• Demonstrable experience with databases
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is a plus
• Expertise in Gap Analysis is required
• Proficiency in Informatica
• Experience in AB Testing
• Knowledge and experience in Agile Scrum methodology
• Understanding of Business Process Functions
• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents
• Design skills are necessary
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred
• Proven experience as a business analyst or similar role
• Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously.
