Job Title: Line Operator
Location: Middletown, VA
Job Summary: As a Line Operator, you will be responsible for operating production lines - overseeing product coming down the line and making adjustments as needed to keep the line running, efficiently handling, moving, and storing materials within the warehouse, as well as packaging and labelling finished materials. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, maintaining inventory control, and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain production line machinery and equipment.
Set up machinery for production runs and perform changeovers as needed.
Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure products meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections.
Maintain accurate production records and logs.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
Unload trucks and put incoming materials away.
Pick orders for shipments and production.
Pack products for shipments and deliver staged items for specified couriers.
Verify quantities for distribution and maintain accurate storage of hazardous waste.
Implement inventory control measures and determine efficient methods for shipping and receiving materials.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
