JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
We are seeking a responsible student worker to support communications, marketing and promotion efforts in Mandarin. The opening pays $15.00 per hour.
Job Duties
Establishing and maintaining sustainable social media channels, such as WeChat and Tencent in Mandarin.
Creating flyers /communications in Mandarin for broadcast and distribution.
Communicate in and translate from Mandarin on case by case basis.
Outreach to Mandarin speaking communities across campus including CSA (Chinese Student Association).
Collaborate with Global Ambassador Program and other programs as needed.
Provide live on-site translation between Mandarin and English on occasion at events (i.e. ISW).
Occasional administrative support in the International Students Office.
Other duties as needed and assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess a high level of fluency in both verbal and written Mandarin, and English.
