REPORTS TO: Seasonal Kettle Coordinator / Corps Officer
SUPERVISES: N/A
STATUS: Nonexempt
SCHEDULE: Varies based on needs of the location
FUNCTION: To transport workers/ kettles to specific locations as needed for Christmas kettles. Be responsible for delivering monies back to The Middletown Corps.
Responsibilities
DUTIES:
Drives Corps vehicles and delivers the bell ringers to their assigned sites. Picks up bell ringers at end of shift.
Be friendly and courteous to the public and bell ringers.
Informs corps officer and kettle coordinator of problems, issues, or complaints
Address any concerns or issues with the Kettle Coordinator or Corps Officer
Collects kettles at end of shift and delivers them as directed
Understands and embraces The Salvation Army’s mission statement with a full understanding of the purpose and direction The Salvation Army plays within the community.
Assist with Christmas Cheer program as needed with pick ups.
May have to work split shifts as required
Any other tasks as designated by the corps officer that would be beneficial to the continued development of the Middletown Corps.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Have a valid Ohio Drivers License. CDL is a plus
Must be punctual and conscientious
Good people skills
Must be able to follow directions
