Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications.

  • Operate various types of machinery, such as lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment.

  • Monitor machine operations to ensure production quality and efficiency.

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.

  • Maintain accurate production logs and records.

  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

  • Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.

  • Familiarity with machine tools and production processes.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

Work Environment: The position typically involves working in a manufacturing or industrial setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and potential hazards. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
