Adecco US, Inc. Electronics Technician or PLC Specialist in Middlebury, Vermont

Adecco is hiring an Electronics Tech / PLC Specialist for our client located in Middlebury dependent on the level of experience of the candidate hired. Wages range from $32.72-$46.97/hr. Placement in range is based on skill/knowledge. There are two levels of technicians within the range and there is a lot of opportunity to learn and grow. Plus, there is a 7% night differential (based on actual hours worked) with increases every 6 months for 2 years (based on performance)

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot motor controls and automation systems along with mechanical and manufacturing equipment.

  • Troubleshoot, configure and calibrate instrumentation (temperature, pressure, level and flow), chart recorders, and single loop controllers.

  • Advanced PLC Specialists also lead design and installation projects, PLC and HMI programming and maintain and troubleshoot industrial networks.

The desired candidate will have solid industrial maintenance experience, a broad range of equipment repair experience and mechanical aptitude, general knowledge of electrical and electronics theory with a Journeyman’s electrical license or similar experience in an industrial setting/technical education and demonstrated instrumentation troubleshooting skills.

A PLC Specialist will additionally have strong proficiency in PLC programming (Rockwell Controllogix, SLC 500 and PLC5 software), HMI programming (FTviewSE and FTView ME), and a strong knowledge of PID loops and process control concepts.

Pay Details: $32.72 to $46.97 per hour
