You will use your extensive subject matter expertise by creating business opportunities through identifying new applications for existing product and technology related to sensors used in battery thermal management. You will promote new business in conjunction with Sales and help design-in opportunities by working with other partners. You will identify customers’ needs and support them though our sensor technologies to develop a solution that meets the customers statement of work.

This also includes working with external customers, sales, product managers and the engineering team to create demand for our products and technologies. Duties include liaising with various stakeholders, building a New Product Introduction (NPI) pipeline, and helping to prioritize the pipeline having the biggest business impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with customers to present product capabilities and identify hardware and software solutions related to Battery and Current sensors.

  • Developing training materials for internal and external partners as needed.

  • Developing technical articles and collaterals such as installation instructions, application notes, technical bulletins, and white paper for our customers when needed.

  • Providing technical support on proposal / RFQ efforts for new opportunities.

  • Managing the opportunity funnel and driving activity based on top priorities.

  • Promoting Voice of Customer (VOC) discussions to comprehend goals and needs of customers.

  • Aggregating customer needs and helping to develop the roadmap for next generation products with the help of Honeywell engineering.

  • Working closely with the product manager, customers, and engineering to define product vision and winning solutions.

  • Participating in the NPI process from demand creation through product launch.

  • Participating in quality investigations and root cause analysis.

  • Travel – approximately 50%

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $157.,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical, Electronics, or Software Engineering.

  • A cursory to a deep understanding in the development of automotive processes

  • An understanding of any or all of the following:

  • Automotive battery management

  • Current sensors and/or battery safety sensors or battery design.

  • A background in engineering, sales, product management, and/or application engineering related to these themes.

  • A basic understanding of ASIL safety ratings

  • A good understanding of OEM engineering processes and timelines

  • Cursory to deep knowledge of CANBUS or LIN

Optional skills/knowledge:

  • Experience working on automotive sensing applications and technologies (design, deployment, servicing of sensing-based applications).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of automotive validation and certifications processes such as ISO26262, IATF16949,
