Pay: $19.00 per hour 1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday As the Assembly Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all assembly operations, encompassing pump assembly (multiline, single/twin, and progressive), and cord assembly. Your role involves monitoring daily production and shipping schedules, ensuring that all completed products adhere to design specifications. Collaboration with floor leads to promote safety, effective operations, and conflict resolution is a key aspect of this position. Moreover, you will spearhead the production engineering efforts for the facility, evaluating production technology, refining process flows, and identifying opportunities for enhanced production efficiency. Essential Functions: Responsible for developing and implementing assembly operations safety standards. Prepare daily and weekly associate assignments to ensure quality, capability, and ship schedules are being met. Recommend and approve, with the agreement of the plant manager, associate planned absences, such as vacation, doctor's visits, and other policy-provided leaves. Checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct. Identifies concerns with product quality and planning schedules and brings these to the attention of the appropriate personnel. Attends daily operations meetings, reporting on immediate and short-term concerns related to, attendance, quality, output, etc. Conducts inspection audits of assembly operations observing for quality and accuracy to design drawings. Arrange for training of new personnel or expanded training to more complex assemblies. Collaborates with Looming and Shipping/Receiving Leaders to ensure product flow is meeting expected ship schedules.
