CenterWell Retail Pharmacy Lead in Miami, Florida

The Retail Pharmacy Lead collaborates with the onsite physicians and providers in order to maximize therapy for our patients and members.

The Retail Pharmacy Lead:

  • Prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory.

  • Provides information to the staff members on drugs and pharmaceuticals.

  • Directly interacts with patients.

  • Compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals.

  • Completes MTM and adherence outreach

  • Immunizes patients and members.

  • Manages a team of 3-4 Pharmacy Technicians.

  • Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

  • Identifies and implements innovative solutions for improved efficiencies and outcomes.

  • Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

  • Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Hours: 8AM-PM 5 Monday-Friday. Some overtime or weekend hours may be required based on business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or PharmD)

  • Retail Pharmacy experience

  • 2+ years of experience as an acting or official retail Pharmacy Manager

  • Must have an active pharmacist license with the FL Board of Pharmacy

  • Must be certified to administer vaccines in Florida

  • This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced pharmacy degree or board certification (BCPS, etc.)

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$112,400 - $154,900 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
