Overview

The project managers will report to the Project Delivery Lead and are responsible for the overall progress of the project – controlling adherence to the scope and project timeline with a focus on the Human Resources domain. They work to keep track of alignment activities between all stakeholders, track and syndicate program status, coordinate resources and communicate with vendor team, project team, client business stakeholders, and IT stakeholders. They will also play an integral part in the risk escalation process by collecting risk input from all levels and managing those risks through to mitigation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage complex business process improvement projects by developing and implementing comprehensive project plans and overseeing cross-functional teams.

  • Analyzing workflows and systems, facilitating stakeholder engagement, managing project resources, fostering collaboration, providing leadership and mentorship, and ensuring adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.

  • Identify and analyze business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and report on program risks by collecting input from various stakeholders, forming an independent viewpoint, and communicating potential escalations to the PMO lead.

  • Monitor project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, measure success, and identify areas for optimization.

  • Prepare materials for governance routines

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Strong digital and process aptitude

  • Experience within the HR Domain

  • Proficiency in MS office tools and Project Place

  • 6+ years in distribution company with experience in aligned function

  • 3+ years experience in program management/PMO roles

  • Hands-on experience in digital transformation projects at global corporations preferred

  • Experience in program quality assurance management preferred

  • Proven leadership skills with cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication skills to manage C-level stakeholders and ensure alignment

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requests and deadlines

  • Analytical and structured thinking ability, balanced with attention to detail to successfully plan and oversee complex and large-scale projects/programs

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
