Randstad, in partnership with one of our clients in North Miami Beach, is actively seeking a Medical Records Clerk to join their team! salary: $17.5 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for maintaining patient files and responding to requests for medical records.
Support Primary Care Physicians and in-house specialists at a busy medical center
Maintain patient files and retrieve files for scheduled appointments
Process letters and reports, as well as respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner.
Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained and keep records in compliance with company policies and federal, state and location regulations.
Perform other duties as needed, such as, physician calls, and follow up as directed with letters to different agencies and other provider's offices.
Candidate must be bilingual - English and Spanish and have previous experience working in a healthcare environment
Must have experience with medical terminology as well as proficiency in electronic health record software.
