Citigroup Business Risk Group Manager - C14 - MIAMI in Miami, Florida

The Product Governance team is part of the Controls team under the Wealth organization. As an integral part of the Wealth Product Governance team, this role will work closely with regional partners across COO, product management, O&T and functional partners teams to drive global product governance related to all the deposit products and their respective features, including but not limited to ACH, Wires, real time payments, digital wallets, bill pay and early access to funds

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional product and functional teams including COO, Risk, ORM, Finance, AIM, and Technology on product inventory updates, quarterly product risk assessments and periodic product reviews to:

  • Support the overall implementation and sustainability of risk rating methodology to Citi’s global deposits and payments

  • Facilitate an accurate capture and identification of risk drivers for products in-scope

  • Drive consistency across regions in inventory, risk rating new activity and periodic product reviews

  • Identify potential emerging high risks across regions

  • Support development of cross regional mitigation plans

  • Quarterly monitoring of inventory with connectivity to pre-PAC and PAC decisions

  • Identify opportunities to scale/ streamline existing products / features across regions based on risk / reward trade-off

  • Partner with the regional product teams to drive consistency in new product proposals for global initiatives

  • Bring end-to-end deposit product expertise to prioritized initiatives (e.g., Transformation, Data initiatives, etc.)

  • Support the execution of ad-hoc initiatives that have a direct impact in the deposits and payment products (e.g., regulatory requirements on foreign branch deposits, control automation, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant deposit and payments product experience with direct experience managing deposit or payment products and/or risk teams in a Payment Services Fintech or large bank

  • Degree or extensive experience in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, specialized analytics, and/or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred

  • Cross-functional influencing skills, with proven results at getting ideas to execution

  • Experience working with internal/external partners with strong program management skills demonstrated on complex programs in large global firms

  • Understanding of MCA risk framework and product risk rating methodology

  • Ability to collaborate, influence, lead, partner, and negotiate with cross functional teams to deliver client needs, across regions and time zones

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Strong understanding of a fast-evolving banking and payments innovations environment (open banking APIs, real time payments)

$134,960.00 - $202,440.00
