Job Summary:

Full-time faculty member for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This position is responsible for supervising and conducting Neuropsychological Evaluations at the State of Florida Memory Disorders Center. This individual will also have an opportunity to collaborate with faculty in the preparation and submission of grants and must possess the ability to obtain independent grant support.

Education:

M.D. or Ph.D.is required. Florida license to practice psychology required.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A record of accomplishment in mentoring students is highly desirable.

  • Post-doctoral training in geriatric neuropsychology is highly preferred.

  • Experience with the evaluation of culturally diverse populations is highly preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Position assignment will be:

  • Clinical Work assigned by the Director of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and Aging, (CNSA).

  • Assist to run large NIH and state-funded grant projects at the CNSA.

  • Supervision and teaching of graduate students and post-doctoral neuropsychology students.

  • Teaching Residents and Fellows in Psychiatry

  • Assist with the submission of NIH grants.

Additional Skills and Experience: Experience in teaching and mentoring graduate students, residents and post-doctoral students is an important part of expected responsibilities.
