IQVIA Senior Data Scientist US team (remote) in Mexico City, Mexico
Job Overview
Provide applied statistical methodology support and enhancement to a wide range of IQVIA syndicated data offerings.
Essential Functions
• Provides statistical methodology support in the delivery of standard and custom studies.
• Maintenance of existing statistical methodologies and quality control of the related core information offerings
• Conduct statistical programming, develop, and apply statistical QC and summarization to meet internal information needs
• Conduct data reviews to derive conclusions from the analysis, write up results and deliver regular summary reports for core processes.
• Developing and using a variety of data analysis methods, on multiple platforms, and use of various data tools, to build and implement efficient techniques, QC reports, or research new methodologies
• Interact extensively with team members to report progress and meet critical deadlines
• Effectively communicate across different function teams to illustrate methodology design
Qualifications
• Master’s degree or equivalently, Bachelor’s degree with up to two (2) years of experience in Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative science field in operations research, market research, or applied statistics.
• Fundamental Statistical knowledge includes regression, hypothesis testing, sampling methods, and predictive modeling is required.
• Solid logical thinking, programming skills in Python, Pyspark is required
• Applied experience in SAS and/or other statistical programming is required.
• Experience with large, relational data assets is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain concepts to both statistical and non-statistical audiences
• Able to present recommendations and methodology to internal and external audiences
