Position Overview:

The Corporate Accounting team is looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting who will be a key contributor to the Company’s SEC reporting processes and technical accounting conclusions. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and has a wide range of responsibilities integral to the corporate accounting function. Looking for a talented individual with the ability to grow and take on positions of increasing responsibility.

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements and disclosures included in SEC filings (8Ks, 10Qs and 10K) and quarterly earnings releases

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing all corporate and divisional financial data supporting the SEC reporting process including footnote disclosures

  • Perform research on technical accounting topics in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the United States

  • Prepare documentation supporting technical accounting conclusions for various areas including, but not limited to:

  • ASC 606 - Revenue recognition and contract review

  • ASC 805 - Purchase accounting for acquisitions

  • ASC 842 - Lease accounting

  • ASC 815 - Derivatives and hedging

  • ASC 280 – Segment reporting

  • Other areas including implementation of new accounting pronouncements, as necessary

  • Contribute to ESG-related financial reporting initiatives including CSRD compliance

  • Contribute to large-scale projects to implement process improvements and internal controls for financial reporting and technical accounting. Work cross-functionally to manage change and enhance communications with stakeholders.

  • Assist in managing relationship with external auditors to support the Company’s accounting positions and conclusions.

  • Support SOX compliance with internal controls associated with the SEC reporting process

  • Drive continuous improvement of the Company’s SEC reporting processes

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • CPA required

  • Minimum 4-6 years of public accounting experience auditing SEC registrants

  • Recent experience with FASB Accounting Standards Codification research and SEC disclosure requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven process improvement skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work well within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus
