Job Description
This position supports the development and execution of the overall portfolio vision for Pan-Ven and Hematology, aligned with individual Brand Strategies Indications in Venclexta CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia), AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), MCL (Mantle Cell Lymphoma), MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndromes), and Epkinly DLBCL (Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma) and FL (Follicular Lymphoma).
It involves collaborating with Brand Teams, Area teams and Affiliates to align on Pan Ven/Heme strategy. The role also involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams, such as U.S One Ven marketing team, international functions such as market access, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, health economics, public affairs, regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC (Office of Ethics and Compliance), and learning.
*This role will be at our International HQ in Riverwoods, IL. No remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Pan Ven/Pan Heme portfolio vision, strategy aligned with individual brand strategies, with clear deliverables in the form of Strategic guidance, embedded when relevant in existing Brand Plan(s)
Generate marketing initiatives and tactics based on collected affiliates insights, advance them efficiently through the approval process and support affiliates with implementation in Ven/ Heme Functional Plans.
Develop one unified Heme Customer Engagement Playbook by working with different brand teams to facilitate alignment, synthesize feedback and collect relevant IFT content from different brands.
Develop a Ven Story and campaign across Heme malignancies and Abbvie in Hematology across different assets and channels (e.g., CLMs (Closed Loop Marketing)), working with close partnership with MCM/Digital Lead.
Guide towards above brand messaging, external communication campaign and congress presence and PR ensuring its embedded in individual brand(s)/indication(s).
Drive multi-stakeholder engagement plan to co-create, align, and communicate the different tactics.
Organize and manage OncOlympics twice a year for cross-fertilization and Best Practice sharing.
Project management and collaboration with vendors and agencies for creative and communication strategy.
Collaborate with Brand Team Lead(s) and GMs (General Manager) to achieve business objectives and goals.
Collaborate with iCEX (BEX and IFTe) to translate updated guidance around 1-7-5 on Integrated Brand Plan(s), Functional Plan(s) and Customer Engagement Playbook(s) to the Brands.
Influence business leaders and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results and contribute to AbbVie's leadership position in Hematology and furthermore in Solid Tumors as we expand our portfolio.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical marketing
Strategic thinker and organizational skills, able to define well-structured execution plans.
Planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects.
Strong implementation skills and experience
Effective communication and networking skills that build successful working relationships with a broad range of internal cross-functional stakeholders and matrix environment.
Able and willing to travel internationally.
Preferred Experience (in addition to Basic):
MBA (Master of Business Administration) or advanced degree
International and Affiliate/Country experience
Sales, Marketing, or other relevant experience that complements the role.
Competency of the current medical and regulatory approval process

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $133,500 - $253,500
