Rural Electric Industrial Electrician in Mesa, Arizona
Rural Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and heavy commercial electrical work, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Install electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments
Both underground distribution and above ground distribution.
Familiar with OCAL and GRC
- Understanding of controls and automation
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, with a focus on industrial and heavy commercial projects
Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
5+ years of experience
Knowledge of PLCs, MCC’s, MCP’s, etc.
Familiar with OCAL and GRC
