The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Help Desk Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.
The key responsibilities of this Help Desk Technician include, but are not limited to:
Basic IT Troubleshooting and Support
Serving as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance
Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users
Perform in person and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Provide accurate information on IT products or services
Record events and problems and their resolution
Follow-up and update user status and information
Monitors incidents within a ticketing system and provides guidance on resolution
Ensures that management is appropriately informed on project status as required
Continuously develops technical subject matter expertise on established and emerging server, desktop, and other device technologies

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Network Analyst with Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
Associates degree in computer science or other related field is preferred. Equivalent education/experience will be considered.
Strong working knowledge of Laptops, PCs, Printers, Phone Systems, Mobile Devices, Audio/Video Equipment, and Security Systems is required
Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and software is required
Knowledge of virtualization hypervisors is a plus.
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANS) is required.
Windows Active Directory familiarity is required
Proficiency in troubleshooting common hardware and software issues is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate with individuals with all levels of technical and non-technical skill sets
The ability to work independently and as part of a team with a courteous and professional attitude
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time is required
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required
Occasional travel is required.
