Summary
The Gate Guard will undertake the entry of our community and the protection of our residents, staff, and visitors. In addition, they will be responsible for detecting any suspicious happenings and preventing vandalism, thefts, or any other criminal behavior.
Essential Functions
- Monitor property entrance;
- Follow company policy to authorize entrance of people and vehicles;
- Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings;
- Monitor surveillance cameras;
- Provide assistance to people in need;
- Answer incoming calls and route where appropriate;
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and suspicious activity;
- Remains competent and current by completing professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as appropriate;
- Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds;
- Reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality; and
- Contributes to the overall success of the company by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned, maintaining high levels of accuracy, maintaining a professional demeanor and appropriate levels of confidentiality, and providing excellent customer service.
