Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Transition to Production, and Product Support team for one of our product families. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills as you support the continued production of one of our advanced product lines. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a great team to support cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.

Activities day to day will vary and may include:

Leading and providing a variety of Mechanical Engineering tasks in support to various products in the program portfolio.

Leading and peer reviewing issue resolution for mechanical product defects

Driving product yield and affordability improvements

Leading/Supporting transition to production of new products

Working in partnership with a cross functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Mechanical Engineering degree and 8 years experience

  • Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve complex mechanical engineering problems.

  • Experience taking products through the design process and leading the transition to production.

  • Ability to multi-task and utilize resources on your team to solve issues in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability

  • Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical problems and implement solutions.

  • Experience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customers.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED

  • Experience in packaging of electronics

  • Experience working on gimbals and optical assemblies

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
