Position Overview: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry items such as shirts, pants, and linens, ensuring that each garment receives the care and attention it deserves. Responsibilities:
- Sort incoming laundry items according to color, fabric type, and care instructions.
- Load and operate washing machines and dryers, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Use appropriate detergents and additives to ensure thorough cleaning and stain removal.
- Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and quality, removing any damaged or stained garments.
- Fold and package laundered items neatly and efficiently, ready for customer pick-up or delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including the proper storage and disposal of cleaning agents and supplies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in laundry operations or a similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of laundry care and techniques.
- Ability to operate washing machines and dryers effectively and safely.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
