Aerotek HVAC Technician in Meridian, Idaho

Job Title: HVAC Technician ($30/hr)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team in Boise, ID . The ideal candidate will possess excellent soft skills for client interaction and a well-rounded expertise in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, patching, and general maintenance. Previous experience working on HVAC systems in an office building or high-rise setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance, specifically with LG products.

  • Conduct electrical work such as changing lights and minor wiring.

  • Handle plumbing tasks and general facilities maintenance.

  • Perform painting and patching as needed.

  • Use various hand and power tools provided by the company.

  • Commute between various client locations in the Treasure Valley, primarily in downtown Boise, with occasional trips to Nampa Marketplace.

  • Participate in an on-call schedule rotating every 5 to 6 weeks to handle after-hour or weekend emergencies.

  • Work both individually and in a team setting.

Essential Skills

  • HVAC troubleshooting experience.

  • Facilities maintenance experience.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems.

  • Plumbing skills.

  • Painting and patching abilities.

  • Experience with hand and power tools.

  • Clean driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on HVAC systems in an office building or high-rise setting.

  • Ability to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.

Shift

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, with on-call duties one week out of every 6 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, Idaho.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00
