General Summary:

Ensures the integrity of data associated within the Customer Measurement systems and

applications for large industrial and commercial customers.

(LOCATION: Meriden, CT)

Starting Rate of Pay: $32.75 per hour

Ensures the integrity of data associated within the Customer Measurement systems and applications for large industrial and commercial customers.

Principle Duties:

1. Ensures the integrity of the telemetering/instruments and customer measurement data using various reports and system files.

2. Collects, reviews, and utilizes daily/nightly application exception reports for the purpose of resolving customer data, field devices and application issues.

3. Resolve nightly data rejections, process daily “no call-ins” and general manual read work orders.

4. Updates and corrects exception reports, index exchanges, data directory, meter exchanges and all account information changes returned from Meter Repairers.

5. Supports account investigations prompted by Large Customer Billing and Gas Supply.

6. Re-route customer accounts via C2.

7. Reconciles daily work generated by Meter Service and/or Meter Repairers with Customer Measurement applications

8. Schedule work with phone vendors and customers.

9. Reconcile work orders with invoices.

10. System Administrator will be cross trained in essential aspects of the Customer Measurement Operating Records Clerk job classification, and will back-up as needed due to vacations, sick, leaves of absence or emergency/unusual business situations.

Position Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Experience: 3 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to operate a computer. Good interpersonal and communications skills. Knowledge of the operations of the prevailing customer measurement systems and Microsoft Access a plus. Knowledge of industry practices related to metering and customer measurement. Working Conditions: Normal working environment.

This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position.
