Come join a leader in rehabilitation and orthopedic care! Position Description Per diem, Up to two weekend days a month and one holiday; weekday shifts available. The Speech Language Pathologist independently evaluates patient’s level of function and determines, develops, and implements individualized treatment goals and plans in alignment with the patient/caregiver goals. Determines treatment strategies and delivers Speech Language Therapy services that identify, restore, and rehabilitate disorders of communication, cognition and swallowing to maximize a patient’s safety and independence. This role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and application of speech therapy to maximize the patient's functional independence. * Acute care experience preferred. * Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college/university. * State of Connecticut License in Speech/Language Pathology. * Certificate of Clinical Competence may be required depending on site.
