As a Sr. Oracle Applications Developer at STERIS, you will play a pivotal role in supporting, enhancing and the implementation of Oracle Applications with a focus on Supply Chain and Manufacturing Modules. You'll collaborate closely with our dedicated teams to ensure seamless support, maintenance and implementation of development request and projects. This is role is considered Hybrid, with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Headquarters 3 days per week. (Relocation assistance eligible) This role is eligible for Work / Visa Sponsorship What will you do as Sr. Oracle Applications Developer - Supply Chain / Manufacturing? Software Application Support - 20% Monitorinterfaces and processes in production systems for errors, performance and any other abnormality Providefirst level support for assigned software applications Troubleshootand resolveproblems reported by users of these modules and applications. Investigateissues using vendor support website(s). Create tickets or service requests with software vendor. Developfixesandchanges to programs to resolve issues Investigatesetup or configuration changes required software applications Workwith other team members, DBA and SA teams to resolve issues Workwith Business Process Owner(s) to test and make changes to software applications Software Application Development - 70% Reviewand understandbusiness requirements for development tasks assigned Developnew programs or makes changes to existing programs, according to business requirements. Developtest scripts and Tests programs according to business requirements Doperformance tuning of programs, screens and other objects when performance issues are reported Performunit, system and integration testing and participate in capacity / performance testing of an application. Create / test prototypes Conductand participatein code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Perform data loads Workwith business users to test programs in Development and UAT Writetechnical documentation Incorporatesecurity requirements into design. Usecoderepository Workwith DBA, System Administration teams to migrate programs to UAT and Production Workwith Business Process Owners to investigate new functionality Workon software application upgrades Workwith offshore resources to develop programs If working on an FDA validated system, adheres to software validation requirements. Project Planning - 10% Meets with business users to manage development requests Schedules development requests Provides status reports to supervisor and or management Provides estimates for deliverables and tasks What experience, skills, and abilities will you need? Your expertise as an Oracle Applications Developer coupled with a strong understanding of the Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules will be key to being successful in this role. Additional experience, skills and abilities are as follows: 5+ years experience as an Oracle Apps Developer with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
