Job Description

Avery Dennison Materials Group, is seeking a savvy digital marketer to join the Marketing Communications team as a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to lead the day-to-day operations of the Label and Packaging Materials public website and digital marketing programs. With the goal of improving the customer experience across our digital experiences and working to develop effective lead generation campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

Manage digital project pipeline, backlog and web tech stack which includes AEM, Ahref’s, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Act-On.

Web Content, UX and development

  • Assist in the development, creation, and publication of digital design assets (such as web pages, email campaigns, social media posts, etc.) according to brand guideline

  • Coordinating creation of new pages on our label.averydennison.com website

  • Lead day-to-day website operations including web content management, technical site maintenance, localization, content optimization research/implementation to improve discoverability (SEO), user experience, and conversion

  • Monitor overall web performance/tracking using Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager and provide evidence based recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, and acquisition by channel (including preparing on-demand reporting and quarterly web performance report.)

Email and Social Media

  • Creating and facilitating send out of our email marketing communications

  • Email and campaign building, program reporting, and performing regular maintenance of distribution lists and segmentations

  • Planning and posting social media posts on our LinkedIn account

  • Managing paid social ads on LinkedIn

Paid Search and Analytics

  • Manage adwords program and budget

  • Deliver analytics and regular reporting for digital media and website campaigns that drive back to our product website along with recommendations on optimizations for content or A/B tests for home page images

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 5 years of working experience as a digital marketer in a B2B or B2C organization

  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other web analytics platforms required (Google Analytics Academy badges a plus)

  • Experience working in a CMS platform (preferably AEM)

  • Experience with key digital marketing topics: email marketing, SEO, SEM, A/B testing, conversion optimization and personalization.

  • Experience with Sprout Social

  • Experience with Act-On or similar email marketing platform

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

  • Ability to troubleshoot front-end functionality issues

  • Strong UX sensibility and empathy for the user

  • Strong familiarity with responsive design principles and usability best practices.

  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and take the initiative without prompting

  • Able to communicate transparently and confidently to all levels of the business and to various stakeholder groups, both in writing and verbally

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Proven ability to build relationships and work independently

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in order to effectively gather requirements as it relates to a given project.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Basic knowledge and/or experience with HTML, CSS, and web analytics a plus.

  • Experience with Act-On marketing automation software is a plus.

  • Experience with Adobe AEM a plus.

  • Experience with UX design tools such as Adobe XD (or similar tools).

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
