UW - STOUT Rehabilitation Specialist in MENOMONIE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21429 JOB DETAILS: The primary function of this position is completing intakes via telephone or virtual platform to determine eligibility for vocational rehabilitation services through Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). This position also requires the gathering and analyzing of records to help in the process of determining eligibility for DVR services. Diagnostic interviewing skills are critical to ensure the information gathered is thorough and accurate. Effective communication skills and an understanding of ethical practices are necessary to establish and maintain working relationships with counselors and staff in DVR offices across the state as recommendations for eligibility are developed. This position allows for a hybrid work environment whereby time is spent in a remote setting as well as on-campus as needed to meet job responsibilities. Work environment is determined based on the needs of SVRI and the University of Wisconsin \' Stout.
