Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP/ERP/MRP systems for our automotive manufacturing support operations in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, SAP/ERP/MRP systems, and the automotive industry (not 100% requirement). This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the successful implementation and integration of the SAP/ERP/MRP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of SAP/ERP/MRP implementation projects, from planning and initiation to execution and closure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance, to gather requirements, develop project plans, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Coordinate and oversee all project activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance.
Ensure that SAP/ERP/MRP systems are implemented on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular project status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and prepare detailed project reports.
Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and bottlenecks to maintain project momentum and ensure successful outcomes.
Develop and implement training programs for end-users to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the new systems.
Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and contractors involved in the project.
Continuously evaluate and improve project processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor"s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP/MRP implementations in the automotive manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale SAP/ERP/MRP projects.
In-depth knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, FI/CO) and MRP systems.
Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile project management practices.
Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
