Eaton Corporation Division Lead Human Resources Generalist in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS ICD division is currently seeking a Division Lead Human Resources Generalist. This role is based out of our Menomonee Falls, WI location.

This role will support the Industrial Control Division (ICD) headquarter locations in Menomonee Falls, WI and Bothell, WA. Main deliverables for this role include establishing solid business partnerships while driving functional excellence at all three sites. This role will also assist the Division HR Manager with programs and projects for all of ICD.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Leads various employee relations activities such as employee coaching, conducting investigations, and supporting the performance management process.

  • Strengthens employee retention and engagement through establishing and coordinating the standard onboarding and orientation processes with integrated efforts from various functions.

  • Coaches and influences leadership as their main business partner regarding relevant policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs are driving an engaged and accountable culture.

  • Analyzes regular and ad-hoc reports for regulatory, budgeting, and auditing purposes.

  • Facilitates engagement committee/s in support of the overall Eaton goals

  • Partners with HR Services to complete employment record and compensation updates and audits.

  • Administrates the end employment process

  • Develops the bench strength necessary to move the business forward by promoting, developing and retaining key employees.

  • Ensures fair and competitive performance appraisals, employee development and compensation decisions are maintained and utilized to accurately assess performance and reward high performance.

  • Partners with other local Eaton sites as well as community groups to help develop Eaton’s brand and connection to the community

  • Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management and employee development. Manage and develop employee compensation/reward and recognition programs

  • Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools to determine organizational issues and action plans.

  • Foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees. Utilize MESH to ensure compliance with state/federal safety requirements

  • Establishes diversity initiatives and maintains governmental compliance

  • Understands all applicable legal implications when making business decisions and protect the organization by ensuring compliance

  • Provides counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 3 years of professional level experience in a progressive HR environment

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Master’s degree
