Description
GWS Tool Group is a rapidly growing, energetic company that is committed to investing in the organization and it’s employees.Our ANCA 5-Axis CNC Setup / Operator will be responsible for producing premium quality, high precision carbide, carbide tipped and HSS cutting tools using ANCA 5-Axis CNC tool grinding machines and programs. They also facilitate and operate (ANCA) CNC machines by programming, setup, operating the CNC machine, inspecting tools for visible flaws and correcting quality issues to ensure a consistent product.
Opportunity Details:
As an ANCA/NUMROTO 5-Axis CNC Setup/Operator you are responsible for:
Setup and offsets as required.
Accurately reading blueprints.
Inspecting tools for defects using quality control tools.
Accurately programming and machine operation.
Consistently evaluating the quality of the finished product coming off the CNC machine through visual inspection and the use of measurement tools.
Communicating quality issues to programmers and/or General Manager.
Pulling material for up-coming jobs
Checking machinery on a daily basis to ensure functionality.
