Required Skills:

Sourcing Manager - Marketing Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute supply chain and sourcing strategies, negotiate and manage a wide variety of contracts for the Messaging and Telecom Services category including, but not limited to the following services: Identify, develop, and drive best-practice supplier management, procurement, and category management practices.

  2. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Meta to strategically develop, implement and optimize outsourcing/sourcing and vendor management solutions.

  3. Act as a strategic thought partner for a continuously evolving billion dollar business.

  4. Work effectively with Meta business teams as the primary Source to Pay business partner and category expert, addressing supply chain and supply market opportunities.

  5. Actively identify, track and manage issues and risks for the projects.

  6. Identify, develop and deploy industry-leading supplier management, procurement and category management practices.

  7. Prepare and manage sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work and related procurement documents.

  8. Drive legal, financial and technological aspects of outsourced programs.

  9. Lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.

  10. Ensure program success through strong performance management and governance methodologies, in collaboration with the business.

  11. Balance business requirements versus technical constraints and maximize business benefits.

  12. Manage complex outsourcing/sourcing projects (including planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of projects).

  13. Establish strong collaborative relationships with Global Outsourcing/ Sourcing Category Teams, Contract Management Teams, Procurement Operations Teams, and Procure to Pay to develop sound operational processes.

  14. Ensure regional/local processes are aligned to Meta’s global operating model.

  15. Understand and apply policies, standards and practices established for vendor management.

  16. Build and cultivate strategic relationships with key suppliers.

  17. Ability to think strategically and operationally/tactically.

  18. Manage, coordinate and support special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Requires 4 years of experience in Job offered or in a business, sourcing, or supply chain-related occupation.

  2. Requires two years of experience in the following:

    1. Partnering with a team of marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to develop and build alignment around long- and short-term supplier strategies
    1. Implementing strategic sourcing and process improvement initiatives
    1. Planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier management
    1. Influencing and changing management experience, with experience managing multiple priorities
    1. Negotiating or equivalent contract analysis experience
    1. Driving negotiations in a high transaction volume environment
    1. Working global contract documents through execution
    1. Developing strategy for, and hands on execution of, competitive sourcing activities.

Public Compensation:

$202,770/year to $225,500/year + bonus + equity + benefits
