Some Responsibilities as Assistant Controller:
Prepare quarterly and year-end closings for fund and management company entities, including tax workbooks and financial statements.
Assist in reviewing tax returns for funds, management companies, and holding company, as well as detailed examination of Schedule K-1s and footnotes.
Support other tax reporting reviews such as 10402s and FBAR, while aiding in capital calls, distributions, and GP tax estimates.
Analyze QSBS and formulate management fee calculations for funds.
Requirements
Experience at a VC/growth equity firm. Open to a PE experience, but not ranked as high.
Must have managed outsourcing / fund admins
Must have prepared tax workbooks in house
10+ years of financial services experience
