JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with executive management and will be responsible for designing and developing key financial models to provide accurate and timely insights and recommendations. These efforts will focus on supporting the company's growth, profitability, and financial objectives, in a fast-paced, growth focused organization. This position will also play a key role in preparing Board reporting and supporting inquiries from our financial sponsor. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business performance, support strategic initiatives, and drive focus on key metrics. Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making across the organization. Analyze financial data, industry trends, and market conditions to identify risks and opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and improve profitability. Analyze large data sets to evaluate quality of data, identifying areas to improve data quality through process change or expansion/contraction of data attributes. Evaluate both organic and acquisitive growth, including post-acquisition performance, to provide key insights into overall organization health, and organic initiative and acquisition performance. Support ad hoc analysis requests from executives, subsidiary leadership, and other internal and external customers. Continuously review and enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting methodologies to drive efficiency and accuracy, acting as a quality check of our internal reporting. QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully; however, in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, marketing, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CP , CBAP, etc.) a plus. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements: 5+ years of proven, relevant experience in an upper middle market, private equity backed or public company Self-starter, with ability to take a lead role withing 12-18 months for a growing department Mastery of financial analysis against large data sets using a variety and tools and techniques to support clearly articulated reporting and conclusions. Meticulous documentation and organization, along with establishing effective ways to store and retrieve past analysis. A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy is essential, along with working under tight deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and data visualization tools to create actionable insights. Experience in the fire life safety industry, or related service, construction, or manufacturing industry is an asset. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a multi-location team environment. Ability to build relationships with all levels within the business. Communication Skills: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with employees, executives, and board of directors. Must have the ability to effectively present complex issues to various levels within the organization, and be confident while facilitating related discussions Systems and Software Skills: Financial systems experience with Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM and Salesforce preferred Experience with PowerBI, Alteryx, or related data analytics programs preferred Expert level experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Other Qualifications: Familiarity with life safety-industry processes and technical terms is an asset Must be able to comply with Summit's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, required PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIROMENT REQUIREMENTS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job duties.
