Twin City Staffing LLC Quality Inspector - 1st & 2nd Shifts in Mendota Heights, Minnesota

This quality assurance opportunity is responsible for the overall inspection process. Hours: 1st shift: 6 am - 2:30 pm 2nd shift: 2 pm - 10:30 pm Wage: $15/hr. + shift differential Benefits of the quality inspector: Medical Dental Vision FSA Life Disability Accident Critical Duties of the quality inspector: Pre-process, in-process, and final inspection of customer-supplied parts Determine different conditions on parts to determine their acceptability Determine proper packaging for parts Ensure accurate counts Record information on job travelers and computer if required Work in all inspection roles, whatever the department Read and interpret blueprints and specification Participates in department safety, demonstrates excellent safety practices and behaviors, and conforms to all safety policies and procedures. Requirements of the quality inspector: Up to 2 years previous quality experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Proven track record in lean manufacturing principles including standard work, continuous improvement, problem resolution and delivery of results positively affecting the bottom line of the organization Ability to work overtime as required to meet business needs Safely lift to 20 lbs. frequently throughout the shift Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals Additional information Apply today!
