WOW LOGISTICS Warehouse Forklift Operator in MENASHA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Your title may be \"Warehouse Forklift Operator,\" but you\'re really an MVP of our Menasha Distribution Center. If you\'re new to operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, don\'t worry, our training is extensive and comprehensive. Our paid 2-week training will give you all the tools necessary to successfully complete the task at hand, and coupled with our mentorship program you will continue to have dedicated people helping you apply the training to your day-to-day work! Your work ethic and attitude are your most powerful tools! The warehouse forklift operator will receive, place into storage, ship, and maintain accurate inventories. You will also be responsible for picking orders, building pallets, and verifying order accuracy for shipment. Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material. Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas. Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas. Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery. Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Job Requirements: Must have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic. Ability to work alone and with others under busy conditions. Have good math, reading, and communication skills. Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly. Have the ability to lift 50-60 pounds safely.
