Summary
The RPA Business Analyst is responsible for leading intake and discovery sessions in the Robotic Process Automation space. The BA is responsible for analyzing as-is state of business processes and identify opportunities for automation. One of the main tasks of the RPA BA is to prepare the documentations needed, cost-benefit analysis, perform risk assessment, and facilitate the creation of test cases. He/she works with the process owners, SMEs, and stakeholders to execute the automation projects on time. The RPA BAs are also expected to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and identify process improvements to build long term pipelines within different banking domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with business units to identify automation opportunities and gather detailed requirements.
Conduct process assessments to determine feasibility and ROI of automation initiatives.
Document As-Is and To-Be processes to support automation development.
Documentation:
Create comprehensive Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and other process documentation.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
Solution Design & Coordination:
Partner with the internal RPA COE team to design automation workflows and ensure alignment with business needs.
Provide input during the development phase to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
Project Management:
Act as a liaison between business units and the RPA COE team, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
Track progress of assigned automation projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Testing & Deployment:
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate automation outputs and resolve any issues.
Support the deployment of automation solutions and ensure smooth adoption by end-users.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with business units, ensuring ongoing collaboration and identification of new automation opportunities.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance the RPA implementation process.
Provide feedback to improve automation efficiency and scalability.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
2-4 years of RPA Business Analyst experience, preferably in the banking sector.
Strong experience with requirements gathering, and process mapping.
Strong analytical skills and able to produce clear and concise business and technical documentation.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with UiPath and other RPA tools (preferred).
Experience in Intelligent Automation tools such as RPA (UI Path)
